I'm going to close my eyes and when I open them I'd like to be here: A perfect summer day in NYC. We lunched on this stoop before wandering down whatever street. And we kept wandering, exploring, until Xavi was fast asleep in his stroller and our outing turned into a date. All the while engulfed by the layers of sounds: constant humming of traffic and people. A few times we caught a string of words or shamelessly eavesdropped on an entire conversation that made us laugh or cringe. And that day felt so alive.
